Nadia is a Consultant Orthodontist and also works in Specialist Orthodontic practice. She has continuously worked in a hospital role since completion of vocational training in 2008. She gained experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine, Radiology and Paediatric Dentistry in the early part of her hospital career. The journey to become a Specialist and Consultant Orthodontist was across the Midlands and Yorkshire, gaining a wide range of experience in various hospitals. Nadia carried out research in autotransplantation of teeth during her specialty training, which led to an MSc with Merit. She has also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education and has a passion for teaching. She teaches on various courses and teaching programmes for GDPs, DFTs and Postgraduate Orthodontic students. She has been involved in a number of textbooks for postgraduate dentists and trainees in Orthodontics. In addition to clinical work, she is Chair of the British Dental Association Central Committee for Hospital Dental Services and Secretary to the British Orthodontic Society Specialists’ Group.
