Jocelyn, Joss, started her dental career in the Royal Navy in 1987, qualifying as a dental hygienist in 1992 serving 9 years. Joss has been part of the team working at Confident Dental and Implant Clinic in Stroud, Gloucestershire, since 2007. In 2018 Joss became a clinical ambassador for the Mouth Cancer Foundation and this year became President-Elect of the Mouth Cancer Foundation. From 2020 to 2022 Joss worked at the dental hygienist in OMFS in Gloucestershire Royal Hospitals. Joss recently completed her MSc in Advanced and Specialist Healthcare at Kent University this year and is delighted to have a peer-reviewed textbook published this year by Wiley, "Care of Head and Neck Cancer Patients". These were 2 of her ideas that were initiated in lockdown.
