The Dentistry Show has become one of our biggest, record-breaking sales shows. Over the two days we are starting to overtake our three days at the BDIA. We always get a lot of business on the stand and see the right audience - practice owners.

We send out a lot of promotions ourselves prior to the event to arrange on-stand appointments which works very nicely. It is so important to get those face-to-face conversations. Most of the time our team is just on the phone, but here the consultants get to catch up with their customers.

I’ve liked having the opportunity to do speaking sessions, and we’ve done one slot each day here.

We’ve already booked to come back next year.

The Dentistry Show attracts the right buyers - the people with the buying power. We always get good quality leads. We’re a manufacturer so we’re here to build relationships with our retailers, and because all of these have a presence it is important that we exhibit to be able to connect with them. We also want to aim at the end user as well - so the show is a great opportunity to close deals ourselves.

We go bigger with our stand every year, and we’re up-scaling again for 2018.

We’ve been really busy, with a press launch to start and then ever since the stand has been pretty much full. We’ve run a lot of education sessions which have always been full as well. There’s a real buzzing vibe.

The Dentistry Show is a perfect platform to showcase new products from our entire portfolio and have conversations with our existing and potential customers. These are the right mix of people, whether dental nurses, dental hygienists, practice managers or dentists.

We have also been selling lots of products on the stand with our really great show offers.

We work closely with our KOL network at the show too to provide education on the stand. The Dentistry Show is education-focused and that is reflected in the way we have designed our stand.

We’ve already signed up for 2018!

My understanding was that this year our two main competitors moved so that they could be next to us. There is a real energy in this area of the floor.

The Dentistry Show is a great opportunity to launch new products in front of a large number of delegates. We’ve had a really positive response, with lots of interest from delegates coming onto the stand.

We get to meet with new contacts, as well as lots of familiar faces. Compared to previous years, footfall this year has been particularly strong.

It’s nice to be able to put on a session too. We just had a presentation in the GDP theatre which was a fantastic way of letting people know about our new products.

It would be a knock to our visibility as a brand if we weren’t at the Dentistry Show. While we’ve had a few debates internally about whether to return here, we have to have that visibility and a platform to launch new products and let our customers know what’s new.

We’ve always had a great relationship with the Dentistry Show. This year we have launched a new toothpaste variety at the show. We also have a separate stand where we’re doing a PEPs (Patient Evaluation Programme), which we’re trialling through clinicians so that they can see the improvement in patient health themselves.

We’re looking to drive as much visibility as we can and establish connections with dentists, hygienists and therapists. Visitors can also test-drive our brushes.

The Dentistry Show is an excellent opportunity to reach a large audience in one go.

The Dentistry Show is a great opportunity for us to catch up with our own clinicians, but also with our new stand this year, it’s been nice to see the reaction to the brand in a practice setting. We’ve seen an excellent mix of delegates - a spread of both clinical and support staff. It’s nice to be able to hit a big geographically diverse audience in one go.

One of the biggest selling points of the Dentistry Show is the colocation with DTS. It is great to see where everything is moving, in terms of future development. Dentistry is a forward-thinking industry, and particularly the younger end of the market is very receptive to change and the digital wave that’s coming into dentistry.

We’ve already booked for next year and we’ve secured a stand right at the front!

We’ve seen a good flow of visitors. The calibre and quality of the audience is good. Although this is a major buying event, the combination of education and trade always works well. The Dentistry Show continues to become more and more credible every year - and we are seeing that growth in stand sizes and the dynamism of business. Our lounge this year is fantastic and has worked really well. 

There’s a great buzz and people are in the mood to buy. 

Yesterday was a good day in terms of sales and today looks set to be even better. Overall, we’re hoping that for ROI, it will be our best year yet.

The Dentistry Show is a really positive event. We have lots of new equipment so it’s great to have somewhere to showcase it. We’ve seen plenty of interest from dentists and technicians, and those who are looking into the digital arena. You meet so many different people, all in one go and it’s an important opportunity to show off our people and products.

The reach and range of this show is impressive. The fact that there is CPD is appealing for GSK as we’re very science and education-focused. 

The Dentistry Show is one of the biggest shows of the year. The exhibition is brilliant as our territory managers can only reach a certain percentage of the country - whereas at this event the geographic pull is much larger. We’re talking to people who we may not perhaps talk with on a regular basis.

The quality of conversation here is important. The dentists are not in practice so they are much more relaxed and open to real quality conversations about our products. 

There are loads of good lectures but the event is more focused on trade.

We’ve had so much traffic, it’s been nuts! We always do great sales here. We get more sales at this show than any other event in the UK. I think the mix of education and trade is key. We love it!

We’ve been very busy and everyone is happy to be here. The quality of visitors coming to our on-stand lectures is impressive. This event is a key opportunity to talk to a range of dental professionals, on a much larger scale than we normally would face-to-face. We’ve booked to come back already next year!
