Roy Higson is the President of The British Society of Occlusal Studies, is on the Advisory Board of Dental Protection and is the only non American to be appointed to the Board of the International Partnership for the Study of Occlusion on whose behalf he has taught both theory and hands-on occlusion at all levels around the world for over 25 years.

Lecture Synopsis

The ramifications of occlusal disharmony in everyday practice are so great that diagnosis of any occlusal component in treatment planning is critical. This presentation will look at quick and easy ways to improove the accuracy of diagnosis by a more thorough examination and better records. The relevance of thisexamination and these records to everyday treatment and the benefits gained in terms of the succes of these treatments and the reduction of failures due to occlusal problems will be outlined. Three simple techniques prooven to work in practice to help practitioners avoid occlusal failures will conclude the lecture.
