Martin has previously been a medical microbiologist and a GDP and for several years, he has lectured extensively across the UK on issues relating to infection control in dentistry. This has been via postgraduate courses and invited lectures at set piece conferences including the British Dental Conference and the British Orthodontic Conference. He has also lectured around the world including; India, South Africa, Singapore, USA and FDI Annual Conference in Dubai.
