Biography

Qualified from Guy's Dental School in 1993.  Currently Senior Lecturer / Hon Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Guy's and Deputy Director of Education and Clinical Skills for KCL Dental Institute.  Visiting Professor of Restorative Dentistry, Oman Dental College, Oman.

Internationally respected researcher and lecturer in the fields of Cariology, Minimal Intervention / Invasive Operative Dentistry & adhesive biomaterials.  Clinical interests include head and neck cancer restorative rehabilitation as well as private / NHS practice in Prosthodontics and Periodontics.  Primary author of the UK definitive text in Operative Dentistry - Pickard's Manual of Operative Dentistry - 9th edition, suitable for dental and DCP undergraduates.
