Arrif Lalani

Dr Arrif Lalani is the dental advisor for the Kingston vocational training scheme at Kingston Hospital as well as the dental tutor for South West London, responsible for the postgraduate education and organising the curriculum for dental courses in all subjects. He has been a member of the Local Dental Committee, as well as the Secretary of the British Dental Association, Kingston branch.

Dr Arrif Lalani qualified from University College Hospital and from Guys Dental Hospital in 1984 before going on to achieve an MSc in peridontics in 1992. He began his training in dental implants in 1994 attending Ashok Sethi’s course. He has since gone on to complete a week in Boston at the Bicon headquarters and a ten-day training course in Shrewsbury. He is currently undertaking a four-year diploma in implantology at the Eastman Dental Centre.

Dr Lalani’s partnership with DIO UK began when he decided to break the mould and offer better value treatments to his patients. He went on to attend an implant conference in South Korea and subsequently completed a one-on-one training session with DIO’s key mentors implantologists.Dr Lalani said, “Compared to many dentists I am relatively new to dental implant surgery.
